PROGRAMM

Day 1: Moscow

Meet in the hotel. Take the bikes.

Day 2: Moscow > Uglich

Depart to Sergiev Posad, one of the most important centers of the Russian orthodox church. Afternoon, heading to Uglich, another "Golden ring" town with millennium history.

Day 3: Uglich > Tver

We ride trough typical Russian villages, post soviet towns, forests and hayfields direction Tver. Once Moscow's main rival during the union of the old Russia, became the city on the Volga river an important transport hub.

Day 4: Tver > Lake Seliger

A unique Russian helicopter museum, the first Italian cheese farm, the gravesite of the Stalin repression victims or the residence of Katherine the Great - thus fare riches the spectrum of today's sightseeing.

Day 5: Lake Seliger

Day 6: Lake Seliger > Novgorod

Day 7: Novgorod > St. Petersburg

Day 8: St. Petersburg

Breakfast.

LOCALITIES

On this motorcycle trip, you discover Russia's history and present in all its facets. Golden ring towns, old monasteries and churches, palaces of Russian czars and impoverish villages, were the people, despite the unassuming life, didn't loose the sense of humanity and hospitality. RUSSIAN COUNTRY ROADS

Those roads are often the only connection between the villages. For the fans of dual purpose bikes it means at the same time an exciting moto adventure and pure riding fun!

DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY

The route is initially designed for experienced riders. You should be comfortable with all types of road: from good tarmac to unpaved country roads. However, according to the needs of the group we can skip some difficult accessible targets and take detours on the main tarmac roads.

NATURE OF THE REGION

Spacious forest-steppe landscapes with numerous lakes and rivers. Mainly flat country, here and there hills up to 600 ft high. Many areas with untouched nature including natural preserves. In a word, typical Russia.
